Does Sasuke Love Sakura? 3 Ways Sasuke Shows His Love

Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno are the ultimate power couple in the world of Naruto. But some fans may wonder if Sasuke reciprocates Sakura’s feelings – he’s awfully distant and closed-off, isn’t he?

Well, Sasuke may have started out as a silent brooding type, but as he matured, so did his heart. He went from ignoring Sakura’s existence to actually considering her feelings (gasp!).

After some intense battles and a whole lot of character development, Sasuke finally realized that he was head over heels for Sakura. It’s just a shame that as a kid, he was too busy plotting revenge against his brother to notice her.

But better late than never, right? Now Sasuke loves and adores Sakura like nobody’s business. And who wouldn’t? She’s fierce, she’s loyal, and she’s got pink hair. What more could a guy want?

Does Sasuke Confess His Love to Sakura?

When it comes to confessing his feelings, Sasuke is more guarded than Fort Knox.

Maybe it’s because he’s got more baggage than an airport terminal. Or maybe he’s just scared of getting hurt. Either way, Sasuke is about as open with his feelings as a clam.

So no, he doesn’t exactly spell out his feelings for her (typical Sasuke), but what does he do? He apologizes. Yeah, because that’s what every girl wants to hear after years of pining.

But let’s give Sasuke some credit. He may not have outright said, “Hey, Sakura, I’m madly in love with you,” but his words had a hidden message. You know, the classic, “I’m sorry for everything, but deep down, you know I love you.”

Does Sakura Ever Kiss Sasuke?

Will Sakura ever lock lips with Sasuke? Unfortunately, it’s about as likely as Naruto giving up ramen. Sasuke’s brooding personality and slow-burn romance with Sakura means that their relationship moves about as quickly as a lazy turtle.

They did almost kiss in one scene, but it was just Sakura’s daydreaming. Poor girl!

Even in Boruto, where they have a kid together (spoiler alert!), fans are still left high and dry in the kissing department.

But hold onto your seats, folks, because there is a story where they actually kiss. It happens in the Naruto Retsuden novel (released in 2019), and it’s a wild ride.

Naruto falls ill, and Sakura and Sasuke go on a motorcycle adventure to find a cure. And just when things start to heat up, Sakura pulls Sasuke towards her and plants one on him. It’s about time!

Why is Sakura in Love with Sasuke?

Sakura has been crushing on Sasuke since they were little. But it’s not until they start working together on team 7 that she really gets to know him. And what does she find? A tortured soul with a dark past. Ooh, how mysterious!

And just like that, Sakura becomes obsessed with Sasuke.

What Episode Does Sakura tell Sasuke She is Pregnant?

Sorry to disappoint, folks, but we don’t see Sakura tell Sasuke she’s pregnant on-screen. But we do have an idea of when it may have happened!

According to the Naruto Gaiden mini-series, Sakura joins Sasuke on his journey, where they get married and pop out a little ninja baby in one of Orochimaru’s hideouts.

The three make it back to Konoha just in time for Sasuke to skip town. Because what’s a good romance without some old-fashioned abandonment issues, am I right?

This all goes down after Hinata and Naruto tie the knot. Which means that Boruto and Sarada are agemates.

Will Sasuke and Sakura Have Another Child?

So far, it doesn’t seem like it! Sasuke was all about restoring his clan, but let’s be real, he’s kinda dropped the ball on that one. One kid and he’s ready to retire from the baby-making game? Come on, Sasuke!

So, will he and Sakura put in the work to keep the Uchiha name alive? Only time will tell.

3 Ways Sasuke Shows He Loves Sakura

Yeah, Sasuke’s not the best at expressing his emotions. But he does love Sakura, and if you don’t believe us yet, here’s some proof:

1. The Beloved Poke: Original Naruto Anime, Episode: 109

In this classic moment from the Naruto anime, Sakura comes to bid farewell to Sasuke before he embarks on his redemption journey. In a heightened display of emotion, Sakura asks if she can go with him (cue the tears).

But Sasuke, being the ultimate loner, refuses her offer. Instead, he opts for a gentle forehead tap, which is the ninja equivalent of a hug. And with that, he gives Sakura hope that he’ll return.

2. Sasuke Prevents Sakura from Falling Due to Exhaustion: Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Episode 52

In episode 52 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, Sakura and Obito search for Sasuke, who’s stranded in a different dimension during the 4th Great Ninja War. By the time they finally find him, they’ve used up all their energy.

As Sasuke rushes to the portal to get out, Sakura is too weak to keep combining her chakra with Obito. Suddenly, she loses control and falls, but Sasuke swoops in and catches her in his arms. He doesn’t let go of her the rest of the mission, making sure she’s safe and sound. A true knight in shining armor!

3. Sasuke Sticking by Her Side When She Fainted: Original Naruto Anime, Episode 4

During the bell training session, Sakura fainted from exhaustion. Sasuke, being the true gentleman that he is, stayed by her side until she woke up. He even risked his ninja journey by wasting time just to make sure she was okay.

Sasuke may not wear his heart on his sleeve, but he’s got it bad for Sakura!
