Eren Yeager

Eren started as a 15-year-old teenager in season 1, known for his quickness to anger and constant fighting. His impulsive personality made him enemies with other cadets (most notably Jean). He is 5’7” (170.2 cm) from season 1 to season 3, and his birthday is March 30th.

His growth spurt hits in season 4, when he reaches a height of 6 ft (182.9 cm) at age 19. Not only does his height change: his personality does too, as he becomes more cool-headed and emotionless. It’s hard to recognize him as the teenager from season 1. This change was brought forth by his goal of becoming the Attack Titan possessor.

Now, Eren is merciless to friends and enemies alike. He broke off his friendship with all his comrades, including Mikasa and Armin. He’ll do anything to reach his goal of freeing the Eldians — even if the cost is the rest of humanity.

Mikasa Ackerman

Mikasa is 15 years old like Eren, but more mature. She watches her surroundings rationally and makes thoughtful decisions – that is, as long as Eren isn’t involved. Ever since he gifted her with her trademark scarf, Mikasa has been madly in love with him. Her world revolves around him and she makes decisions that work to his advantage. She never hesitates to protect him when the situation calls for it, even if it goes against military orders.

She was as tall as Eren for the first three seasons at 5’7″ (170.2 cm). Her growth stunted since, reaching 5’8″ (172.7cm) in season 4 at 19 years old. Mikasa’s birthday is February 10th, making her a month older than Eren.

Mikasa is one of the strongest soldiers in the series. She can kill multiple Titans at the same time with relative ease. Although she is skilled and physically strong, her real strength lies in her ability to stay calm in any situation.

Armin Arlert

Born on November 3rd, Armin is a timid boy of 15 years old who was often bullied in his childhood. It was Eren and Mikasa who stood up for him every time. These three stuck together throughout most of the show until Eren went rogue. Armin is the shortest among the trio with a height of only 5’4″ (162.6 cm). In season 4, he is 19 years old and 5’5″ (165.1 cm).

Initially, Armin was an average soldier with no notable features. He was constantly protected by either Eren or Mikasa. This changes as he starts showing talents in leadership and strategizing. He inherits the Colossal Titan after devouring the previous possessor, Bertolt.

Levi Ackerman

Levi is one of the hardest characters to accurately guess the age of since he looks like a middle schooler and is just 5’3″ (160 cm). Despite his misleading appearance, Levi is a fully-grown adult. According to Hajime Isayama, the series creator, he is 30-33 years old in the first three seasons. The events of the fourth season take place after the four-year time skip. This means he is in his late 30s in the final season. His birthday is December 25th.

Levi is one of the most popular characters in the series for obvious reasons. His expressionless face and dark demeanor make him hard to approach. However, he’s a caring person who wants to protect his comrades. We saw his rage when his squad was killed by a Titan. Levi is also an exceptional combatant, proven by his moniker of “humanity’s strongest warrior.”

Erwin Smith

Erwin was born on October 14th and was 6’2″ (188 cm) tall. He was the 13th commander of the Survey Corps and the unshaken pillar of the group. His determination to protect humanity from the Titans attracted many allies, including Levi. His keen eye for strategy and charisma helped the Corps survive many near-death situations.

Unfortunately, his life was cut short before season 4. Erwin’s exact age was never revealed, but he was a few years older than Levi. From that, it can be surmised he was 35-39 years old by the time of his death.

Reiner Braun

With a height of 6’1″ (185 cm), Reiner was bigger and bulkier than most cadets. Despite his old-looking face, Reiner was only 17 during the first three seasons and was born on August 1st. Other cadets found him easy to talk to because of his friendly personality, particularly Eren, who confided in him a lot. Reiner was the big brother figure for the younger cadets. That’s why his reveal as the Armored Titan left most of his comrades shocked and devastated.

We see him again in season 4 as a 21-year-old adult. His height of 6’2” (188 cm) barely changed, but he was a shadow of his former self. His time on the battlefield as a Warrior of Marley and the guilt he felt from betraying his comrades left him haggard. Feeling tormented, he even asked Eren to kill him when they reunited.

Bertolt Hoover

Bertolt was 17 years old throughout the first three seasons and his birthday is December 30th. Despite being a senior cadet, he didn’t have much presence. The only special thing about him was his towering height of 6’4″ (192 cm). That’s why nobody predicted this guy would be the Colossus Titan responsible for the destruction of Wall Maria.

Bertolt was more level-headed than Reiner, who was constantly guilt-ridden. It wasn’t that he didn’t feel anything – he just gave precedence to the mission. He didn’t live to see season 4 as he died in the previous season.

Zeke Yeager

Another don’t-judge-a-book-by-its-cover character. Zeke was 25 years old in his first appearance. Yes, you read it correctly: he was that young despite looking so old. If Isayama didn’t confirm his age, we would most likely guess it wrong the whole time. Zeke is 6’0″ (183 cm) tall and his birthday is August 1st. It was later revealed that he is Eren’s half-brother. The two brothers team up together in season 4 — until Eren betrays him.

Hange Zoë

Hange is 5’7″ (170 cm) tall throughout the series. They’re a few years younger than Levi, making them 29-31 years old from season 1 to season 3. In season 4, they’re 33-35 years old. Hange is close with the senior Corps members, especially Levi. The two often bicker, with the latter being teased for his short height – in a playful way, though.

Fun fact: While Hange’s gender is left ambiguous in the manga, in the anime, they’re portrayed as a female. Their birthday is September 5th.

Historia Reiss

Historia is the shortest in her age group, measuring 4’9″ (145 cm). Her age was 15 in the first three seasons and 19 in season 4. She was portrayed as a gentle, kind, and innocent girl in the earlier seasons – a rare flower in a squad full of strong and manly girls. No wonder so many cadets had a crush on her (including Reiner). Turns out, it was all a facade, and she is the rightful heir to the Walls’ throne. Her birthday is January 15th.

Annie Leonhart

Annie was 16 years old in season 1. She appears again in season 4, at age 20. Her height remains 5’0″ (153 cm) throughout the series as a result of being encased in a crystal cocoon for the majority of the show.

Born on March 22nd, Annie was abandoned by her parents as a baby. Her adoptive father trained her to be a Marley Warrior so he could live a worry-free life. As a result of the harsh training and her natural talents, she successfully becomes the possessor of the Female Titan and one of the three to infiltrate the Walls.

Jean Kirstein

Jean was 15 years old and 5’9″ (175 cm) tall in the first three seasons. He grows significantly in season 4, where he is 19 years old and 6’2″ (190 cm) tall. Jean often bickered with Eren due to their different viewpoints and because he had a crush on Mikasa, who was constantly on Eren’s side. As the series progresses, they become close enough to build trust. Jean was born on April 7th.

Connie Springer

Connie was among the shortest cadets in his group during the first three seasons, measuring 5’2″ (158 cm). He is no longer the shorty in season 4, reaching 5’9″ (175.3 cm) at 19 years of age. Connie was a stereotypical 15-year-old who liked to flaunt his skills. His outgoing personality made it easy for him to make friends, and he constantly regularly provides comic relief throughout the series. His birthday is May 2nd.

Ymir

Not to be misunderstood as the founder, Ymir was a former Scout Regimen member and a graduate of the 104th Training Corps. She was born on February 17th as an Eldian. Ymir was one of the tallest female cadets at 5’8″ (172 cm). She may look like a teenager, but Ymir was over 75 years old leading up to her death. Her age stopped after devouring the previous Jaw Titan holder, Marcel Galliard. Ymir later lets herself be killed by Porco Galliard, Marcel’s younger brother.

Sasha Blouse

Sasha Blouse, also known as potato girl, was a character most fans loved. Her eccentric personality, gluttonous tendencies, and simple-mindedness made her a fun character to watch. That’s why her death in season 4 left both fans and her friends devastated. At the time of her death, Sasha was 19 years old and 5’7″ (170 cm) tall. She was 15 years old and 5’6″ (168 cm) in the first three seasons. Her birthday is July 26th.

Marco Bott

Marco was taller than most of his peers, standing at 5’10” (178 cm). Unfortunately, he died early on in the show, but it was only recently revealed that Annie, Reiner, and Bertolt were the perpetrators. He accidentally overheard their conversation, which led them to take his gear and leave him unguarded in front of a Titan. Marco was 15 years old when he died and his birthday is June 16th.

Floch Forster

Floch is in the same age group as Eren, so he is 15 from season 1 to season 3. He was slightly above average in terms of height among the cadets at 5’7” (170 cm) and reached 5’9″ (175.3 cm) in season 4 at 19. Initially introduced as a timid person, Floch grows to be confident and more outgoing after becoming a Yeagerist. He was born on October 8th.

Louise

Louise is a minor character and the little girl Mikasa saved in the fight against Titans at Trost District. Idolizing Mikasa, she entered the Military and later becomes one of the Yeagerists. The two meet again later, but Mikasa is put off by her over-the-top idolization. Her birthday is April 25th and she is estimated to be 13-16 years old. Louise is approximately 5’1” (155 cm) tall.

Daz

Despite his old-looking appearance, Daz falls in the same age group as Eren. Being the weakest of the bunch with no exceptional talents, he was unable to beat even the petite Historia in training. However, Daz somehow survived until season 4, when he is 19 years old. He is slightly above average in height at 5’09” (175 cm). He was born on September 22nd.

Samuel Linke-Jackson

Samuel was born December 20th and is a member of the 104th Training Corps. He is the same age as Eren, making him 15 years old from season 1 to season 3. In season 4, he joins the Yeagerists to follow Eren on his cause. Later, he dies at Connie’s hands. At the time of his death, Samuel was 19 and 5’11” (180 cm).

Petra Ral

Petra was born on December 6th with a height of 5’2” (158 cm). She had a kind personality, as shown when she was the only one to care for Eren after his first admittance to the squad. Petra admired Levi so much that she wanted to devote her life to him, prompting many fans to ship them. But a relationship between them never came to fruition since she died at the hands of the Female Titan. Her death left many distraught, including Levi, who rarely showed emotions.

Dot Pyxis

Pyxis was the Commander of the Southern Territory first introduced as a cheerful man in his late 40s. We see him again in season 4, where he dies after Zeke turns him into a Titan. Ironically, the one who finished him off is one of his subordinates, Armin. He was in his early 50s at this time. Pyxis was 5’11 (180 cm) tall throughout the series and his birthday is September 13th.

Kitz Woermann

Kitz was born on August 2 on Paradis Island. He is a minor character who had zero significance in the series. The only time he left an impact was during the aftermath of Eren’s transformation, and it wasn’t on a positive note: he tried to kill Eren by firing canons at him. Luckily, Pyxis prevented him from firing the second round. Otherwise, who knows what would’ve happened! Kitz remains 6’48” (195 cm) tall throughout the show.

Rico Brzenska

Rico has a petite build that reaches 5’14” (156 cm). She may be on the short side, but her skill is indubitable. Although she doesn’t appear in season 4, Rico was part of the 1st Division Elite Forces in the previous seasons. Her superiors trusted her enough to give her command over a separate team called Squad Rico. She was born on December 7th.

Kenny Ackerman

Kenny was first introduced in season 3 as the captain of the Anti-Personnel Control Squad. He is in his mid-40s, although his haggard appearance may suggest otherwise. He had a lean build and was taller than average with a height of 6’3″ (190 cm). As an Ackerman, Kenny was an exceptional combatant. Even Levi admitted that Kenny was more formidable than him. His birthday is February 4th.

Yelena

Yelena may appear androgynous, but she is a woman. Standing at 6’3″ (190 cm), Yelena is the tallest female character in Attack on Titan. She was born into a Marley family on January 21st but betrays her homeland after meeting Zeke. She first appears in season 4 as his devotee, her admiration for him running so deep that she sees him as a god.

Gabi Braun

Gabi is first introduced in season 4 as a Marley Warrior candidate. She is a 12-year-old girl with an average height of 4’6″ (138 cm), and her birthday is April 14th. If there’s a ranking for the most hated characters in Attack on Titan, Gabi would surely top that list. She killed Sasha, is rude to everyone around her, and constantly demeans Falco. She’s young, but her age is no excuse.

Porco Galliard

Porco was a young man with an above-average height of 5’8″ (175 cm) who inherited the Jaw Titan after devouring Ymir. His first introduction was in his Titan form in season 3, and we don’t see his human form until season 4. His age is the same as Eren’s. This means he is 15 years old in the first three seasons and 19 in season 4. Porco was born on November 11th.

Pieck Finger

Pieck is yet another new character of season 4. She was born on August 5th and is the current possessor of the Cart Titan. In her human form, Pieck appears emotional and laid-back. However, she cares deeply for her comrades. She is 21 years old and 5’1″ (155 cm) tall.

Colt Grice

Colt seemed intimidating when he was first introduced. His large build, height of 5’11” (180 cm), and scary face didn’t help his case. Turns out, he was a brave and loyal person. He didn’t hesitate to jump under enemy fire to save Falco. Sadly, he dies early on in season 4 at the young age of 17. Colt’s birthday is August 12th.

Falco Grice

Falco is the younger brother of Colt and a Warrior candidate of Marley. He is also Gabi’s friend (although she constantly berates him). Unlike other Warrior candidates, Falco has a kind and friendly personality. That’s why he was devastated to find out that Eren was using him to send letters to Paradis Island. Falco is 4’7″ (140 cm) tall and his birthday is February 10th.

Ymir Fritz

Ymir is the source of all Titans and the strongest entity in the whole series. Despite this, she has been exploited her whole life. King Fritz used her power against his enemies, then took her as a concubine so she could give birth to his children. Ymir didn’t get to rest even after dying. Her flesh was consumed by her daughters to pass her powers down to future generations. She continued to suffer in the Coordinate for years until Eren came and gave her hope. Her height, age, and birthday remain unknown.
